Genesis Cinema

Situated in the East-end of London, Genesis Cinema has had a long and historied past. Originally a Music theatre converted from a pub in 1848, after suffering a fire and rebuilding, the Music theatre now named the Paragon Theatre of Varieties and had not only Charlie Chaplin perform, but also Laurel & Hardy. The theatre was converted to a cinema in 1912 and in 1999 the current owners Re-opened under the name Genesis.
